Vision

The Latin American Harp Association aspires to connect, optimize and unify relationships between harpists throughout the Latin American continent, promoting professional solidarity so that equitable and accessible opportunities arise for all.

Mission

Our mission is to create a network of cooperation and development for Latin American harpists through educational programs and resources, concerts and spaces for discussion and interpretation. Likewise, serve as promoters and representatives before international institutions that support the harp and culture, always promoting the values of unity, empathy, respect, solidarity, social development and artistic excellence.

Objectives

  • Promote the development of the repertoire, techniques, and general knowledge of the pedal harp among Latin American harpists and the general public.

  • Promote the union of forces and professional solidarity between pedal harpists inside and outside the member countries.

  • Promote access, development and deepening of the information available for Latin American interpreters.

  • Develop Latin American audiences' knowledge of the pedal harp and its repertoire.

  • Achieve a greater presence of harpists and the Latin American harp repertoire in international events and stages.

  • Advise harpists on the purchase of instruments, strings, sheet music, etc.

  • Advise harpists during their application processes to educational institutions, festivals, orchestral academies, etc.

  • Disseminate and promote publications made by Latin American harpists and academics and editions of the Latin American harp repertoire.

  • Encourage and support the musical, artistic and professional development of the members of the Association.

  • Listen to and attend to the needs of the harpist community in our countries.

The Latin American Arpa Association.AC is registered in the Federal Registry of Civil Society Organizations in book number 957, RRS'THP'RRS- deed number 49123, established in Mexico City on June 8, 2021.
